10 Quick Fixes from Met Home

Bold fabric on traditional style chairs

I guess you could say that I change my mind as often as the weather (which in N. Texas, can be quite often)! So, I am a big fan of quick fixes, instant makeovers, seasonal changes; whatever you want to call them. Little things that make a big impact, and keep your look fresh.

Here are my favorites from 10 Quick Fixes, but they are all inspired. Would love to see pictures of what you do to "fix" your home too.

Rotate your art collection on floating shelves

Add a banquette in your dining room to create an inviting place to linger

Replace a large coffee table with several smaller tables

Thanks for the input Pam, I do have lots of these in my files.

I love the idea of putting quotes on the wall. I have a big, blank area that is always a challenge.

Normally (and this might be an idea for others), I have a frame with an interesting fabric tacked to it as "art." It's very easily changed.

But I've been a bit bored with it. Words might be something fun to do. Most of those word sets are peel n' stick.

How clever - I like the idea of floating shelves with pictures instead of constantly rehanging.

I think I may do that as we just painted, and I hate the idea of putting holes in the wall, every time I want to change the art around.
