Make a Difference - "Maggie Lee...For Good"

Happy Friday! I hope you all are going to have a great long weekend, celebrating Labor Day with friends and family. If the weather is good, we hope to get lots of projects done around here.

I wanted to share a meaningful opportunity, to honor the spirit of a little girl, who touched many lives during her 3-week struggle for survival.

After her passing, it was suggested to her parents that they try to find 1300 people who are committed to doing one act of kindness on October 29th in the spirit of Maggie Lee Henson. She would be 13 years old on on that date, had not she died in a tragic bus accident on her way to youth camp. Maggie Lee died three weeks after the July 12th accident, on August 2nd, 2009, but they hope that her spirit of kindness will live on. The name; "Maggie Lee...For Good." Comes from the song, "I Have Been Changed For Good," from her favorite Broadway Play, "Wicked."

The Internet is amazing, and within 24 hours, they had 1500 people! So, they decided to increase their goal to 13,000!

In order to help meet that goal, I wanted to share their cause with you, and hope that you will pass it along. Let's make a difference on October 29th!

How wonderful to spread hope from such a tragedy. I'll retweet this.
